Inclusion and exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria :(1) Randomized, controlled, and double-blind clinical trials;
(2) Studies with adults ⩾ 40 years of age with a diagnosis of stable COPD
(3) Studies that the change from baseline in trough FEV1 was reported;
(4) Published in English;
Exclusion criteria :
(1) Studies on other subjects or not stable COPD;
(2) Crossover studies that did not report the efficacy of the first cycle.
(3) Sample size less than 50.

A total of 2781 literatures were identified
1929 literatures were screened
299 literatures were assessed for eligibility
22 studies were included in the analysis.
